Business Description Welcome to the Hawk Cars web site, where you can find information about our company and the products and services that we offer. Our main business is in the manufacture of a range of kit cars (or component cars) which are grouped under the heading 'The Hawk Collection'. These kits are replicas or re-creations of famous cars from the 60's and 70's, developed to allow the home builder to own vehicles with levels of style, performance and quality that they may never have imagined was within their means. Besides the range of kits that are available, Hawk Cars also provide technical consultancy, mechanical engineering and grp bodywork services to other companies. Additionally, parts manufactured for our kit cars are also suitable for use on some other cars and are therefore sold as replacement parts for particular marques. A particular example of this is with the suspension upgrade that we designed for kits using the MGB suspension components. Our independent suspension can be fitted to kit cars or to original cars to realise modern ride and handling responses on these traditionally styled vehicles. As a company, Hawk Cars are proud to represent all that is good about British motor engineering and in particular, the kit car industry. Gerry Hawkridge is a regular contributor of technical articles to Kit Car magazine. Hawk Cars have received praise from many sources, not only from within the kit car industry, but also from other motoring publications. Tests of our vehicles always conclude that the kits are of the best possible quality, with solid engineering experience going into their design. Hawk Cars attend at the majority of the British kit car shows throughout the year, with a stand featuring one or more of our models. We also attend at some European motor shows where these do not clash with other appearances. We have been in the kit and component car business for many years and have worked hard to build our reputation for production of accurately detailed kits. If you are interested in the models that we manufacture, you will not find similarly detailed kits available anywhere else.
